THE STORY

Meet Marvelous Moe

Marvelous Moe is a 1966 Piper PA-28-140 Cherokee, registration N6470R. This site is a home for the airplane’s story: flying around New England, the places we visit, the work that keeps a sixty-year-old airplane flying, and the photographs collected along the way.

The name is personal. Marvelous Moe is named for Maureen — “Moe” — my wife and frequent flying companion. The airplane has become part of our travels together and a way to see New England from a perspective few people get to experience.
